STEPHANIE REDLICK LOSES AGAIN

STEPHANIE REDLICK LOSES AGAIN

STEPHANIE REDLICK LOSES AGAIN!

Today, Stephanie Redlick’s name surfaced once again at the Animal Care Review Board — the very tribunal responsible for handling cases under the Provincial Animal Welfare Services Act.

Her case appeared before the ACRB because the Chief Animal Welfare Inspector’s request for reconsideration was being decided.

Redlick herself didn’t even bother to submit anything despite being invited.

So while her name was front and center in a provincial tribunal decision released today, she was not standing triumphantly in a courtroom with a legal dream team.  (You, the one she keeps telling everyone she has when she threatens to sue.)

She was simply the subject of yet another official ruling tied to the fallout from her seized horses and her multiple ongoing charges.

Let’s be honest: watching Stephanie Redlick (who this week is trying to hide with the alias Stephanie Alessia) stumble through her own legal disasters is starting to feel like a spectator sport.

She struts around bragging about a “legal team” that seems to exist only in her imagination — unless the Tribunal now accepts invisible ink filings and advice from TikTok commenters.

She bullies, she harasses, she films everything like it’s a low-budget reality show no one asked for, then plays the victim when the consequences land exactly where they belong.

Her credibility evaporates faster than her appeals get dismissed, and every time she opens her mouth, the truth quietly packs a suitcase and heads for the exit.

At this point she’s losing motions with such consistency you’d think the Tribunal had a loyalty program: five dismissals and the sixth one’s free.

Let’s be clear: Today’s ruling does NOT help Stephanie Redlick.

It doesn’t return her animals.

It doesn’t undo the original dismissal.

It doesn’t soften the blow of her 13 Animal Welfare Services charges.

It certainly doesn’t erase the criminal theft and fraud case involving an elderly victim.

All it does is maintain the status quo — which is:

Redlick lost.

The appeals are dead.

The orders stand.

The surviving 15 horses do NOT go back to her.

And that is exactly how it should be.

If anyone is still holding out hope that Stephanie Redlick’s endless legal manoeuvring might somehow restore her credibility, today’s ruling from Tribunals Ontario should put that fantasy to rest.

On December 2, 2025, the Animal Care Review Board released its reconsideration decision in Redlick v. Chief Animal Welfare Inspector — and the takeaway is simple:

Once again, nothing Redlick touched held up.

And once again, the system refused to bend for her.

This all stems from Redlick’s failed attempt to challenge the fallout after 16 horses were seized under the PAWS Act.

She tried appealing the Statement of Account, revoking orders, and even demanding the return of the animals. All of it was dismissed months ago.

IN PLAIN ENGLISH:

The reconsideration rules have a high bar, and nothing in this request met it.

Disagreeing with a decision is not grounds for reconsideration.

The Respondent  didn’t show this alleged legal error would have changed the result anyway.

Complaints about “procedural fairness” were unsupported, vague, and ultimately baseless.

Nice try Redlick – guess you aren’t so smart after all.

If pretending to have a legal team counted as representation you might actually win something!

In short:

The decision stands, because the law was followed — and no amount of creative legal footwork can change the outcome.

For those fighting to keep Redlick away from horses, this ruling is one more confirmation that the system sees through the tactics.

Redlick, you can’t appeal your way out of the consequences when the consequences are the direct result of your own behaviour.

And while tribunals must remain neutral in tone, the reading between the lines is loud:

Nothing in this case suggests Stephanie Redlick had any viable path to getting those horses back.

Nothing at all.

Given Redlick’s history — the seized animals, the 13 animal-welfare charges, the criminal allegations of theft — and of defrauding an elderly man, and the never-ending chaos trailing behind her — that is exactly how it should be.

Ontario’s horses deserve protection from people who have demonstrated, repeatedly, that they cannot provide it.

We look forward to seeing you – Ms. Redlick –  in criminal court in 2 days time on December 4th, 2025.

REDLICK CAN SLANDER, HARASS & THREATEN

We’re not going away – her tactics don’t work on us!

We’re not looking away.

And we’re not letting horses like these fall through the cracks again.

If you want to stand with us and help fund the work it takes to expose neglect and provide lifesaving care, donate here.

Together, we make sure the truth isn’t buried — and the horses don’t pay the price.

Unlike Stephanie Redlick, we actually show up, feed horses, and keep our commitments.

If you want to help us continue doing the literal opposite of whatever Redlick professes to do, we’d be grateful for your support.

HORSES SLAUGHTERED FOR HUMAN CONSUMPTION

Every year thousands of horses are routinely slaughtered in Canada, for human consumption, but you can help us ban horse slaughter in Canada and beyond.

Some of the meat is consumed in Canada, and much of it is shipped to the European Union, and other markets, including Japan.

This barbaric practice is currently not legal in the United States, so horses from the United States are shipped to Canada, and to Mexico, to be slaughtered.

In addition Canada allows for the transportation of live horses to Japan to be slaughtered for human consumption, and unfortunately the transportation of horses destined for slaughter within Canada, and by air to Japan for slaughter, is far from humane.

REDLICK STOLEN HORSES

THE TRUTH – NOT THE FICTION REDLICK IS TRYING TO SPIN ONLINE

Sunday morning November 30th, 2025, after consulting with a lawyer and reviewing Ontario’s Animal Welfare Services Act, it was confirmed that the property owners in Shelburne acted fully within their legal rights as “custodians” of the horses on their property when they intervened to protect the two horses dumped on their property by Stephanie (Alessia) Redlick and her father Sammy Redlick.

Despite failing to pay the barn rental, the Redlicks tried to bully and intimidate the property owners into believing they had some kind of legal right to squat. They did not.

A veterinarian assessed the horses and confirmed they required medical care — care they simply were not receiving under Redlick’s so-called “care,” which consisted of showing up for an hour a day at best, and EVEN not at all some days.

She and her father even put in writing that the owners of the property were NOT to feed or care for their horses – even on the days she was NOT there.

YES, REALLY.

LET’S BE CRYSTAL CLEAR

Redlick did NOT walk into her barn one morning and find horses missing, as she claims in her latest dramatic video.

❌ She was not living on the property. She was over an hour away and was informed by text that she was prohibited from returning and that the horses had been moved for medical care.

❌ She called the OPP — and the police were informed exactly where the horses were.

❌ She was escorted by the OPP to the new location, and the officers did not leave during the visit. Not to support her — but to protect the property owners from her behaviour.

THANK YOU REDLICK FOR THE VOICE SAMPLE

& WE NOW HAVE VIDEO OF YOU SAMMY

She is not permitted to return to the property again unless the OPP are contacted and available to escort her.

And thank you, Stephanie, for posting your videos — because more people than ever now know your voice for when you call pretending to run “equine therapy,” “rescue,” hay sales, horse transport, or any of the long list of scams you operate.

The horse world talks — and you’ve left a LONG list of victims.

Monday, December 1, 2025 Redlick returned to the property where two horses she states are hers are being housed.

There was no interest from Stephanie Redlick in checking on the horses — she only wanted inside the barn to film content for her social media.

Police barred her from taking a camera inside, and when she pushed to enter anyway, the situation escalated to a physical altercation requiring police intervention.

Redlick took off to sit in her car and record a livestream, attempting to spin the situation rather than participate in any real welfare-related discussion.

It was clearly established:

She cannot enter the property without police present.

She agreed on Sunday that no camera would be allowed inside the barn.

On Monday she tried to violate that agreement and attempted to film inside
This is not about animal care.

This is about manufacturing social-media content to slander and harass the people currently providing safe care for the horses.

REDLICK’S SLANDER, LIES, THREATENING & HARASSMENT MIGHT STOP SOME BUT…

We’re not done.

We’re not looking away.

And we’re not letting horses like these fall through the cracks again.

HOW NOT TO HORSE CARE – THE STEPHANIE REDLICK GUIDE

Well, well, well… Stephanie Redlick, the alleged horse abuser currently juggling 13 animal neglect charges and separate criminal charges for allegedly swindling an 80-plus-year-old man out of more than $60,000, has had herself a very eventful week.

Truly inspirational. A masterclass in chaos.

As we reported on November 22nd, Stephanie had two horses — a 4-month-old colt and a mare she claims is pregnant — dropped off at a farm on November 20th.

Unfortunately for her, the horse community is small, loud, and very, very good at connecting dots.

We quickly figured out where the horses were moved to and, because we are kind and generous souls, we passed along some helpful information to the property owners.

Shockingly, after watching CTV’s delightful feature on her current criminal case, they decided they did not want to host the Stephanie Show on their property. Imagine that!

And honestly, who can blame them?

Stephanie had the horses delivered promising she’d bring cash for the first month’s rent the “next time” she stopped by.

She showed up Friday. No cash.

She showed up Saturday. Still no cash.

The math? Two visits, zero dollars.

But wait, 10 days later – she’s still not paid rent.

We’re no accountants, but we feel confident that’s not how rent works.

Thursday, November 26 — A Big Day in Stephanie-Land™

Because the universe has impeccable timing, while Stephanie was busy appearing in criminal court, the Ontario Provincial Police and Animal Welfare Services (AWS) made a visit to the property where her horses are currently squatting. (Yes, squatting. Because paying any rent is apparently optional in her world.)

We had several equine experts on site while AWS Inspectors examined the horses, and, buckle up, because the findings are… something.

What Inspectors Found?

The mare is cribbing — aggressively chewing the wooden stall rails like a beaver with anger issues. AWS watched her do it. No safeguards.

Because who needs proper care when there’s lumber to gnaw?

The mare also has a bowed tendon, a sore neck, back, and hind end, and is desperately in need of a farrier or trimmer.

Apparently hoof care is also optional.

The foal has infected eyes.

Anyone with even Horses For Dummies level knowledge knows eye infections can go catastrophic fast.

The foal also has a swollen front leg.

Hold onto your halters, because this next part is unbelievable:

Inspectors learned when they were there late afternoon Thursday that Stephanie hadn’t been to the property since Tuesday.

On Wednesday, she actually instructed the property owners in writing NOT to feed her horses.

Yes, really.

This was supposed to be a self-board arrangement — the kind where you pay for the space and you care for your own horses.

Not “dump them and disappear” boarding — although apparently she’s pioneering that business model.

We’re guessing AWS was less than dazzled by the nearly 48 hours of no care, no visit, and no feeding.

Coming Attractions: The Redlick Court Tour 2025

Redlick’s calendar is simply bursting:

📍 Tuesday, December 2 – Provincial court for multiple animal welfare charges (first jurisdiction)

📍 Monday, December 15 – Another set of animal welfare charges (second jurisdiction)

📍 Thursday, December 4 – Criminal court appearance for the alleged $60K theft

Bring popcorn.

We’re not done.

We’re not looking away.

And we’re not letting horses like these fall through the cracks again.

If you want to stand with us and help fund the work it takes to expose neglect and provide lifesaving care, donate here.

Together, we make sure the truth isn’t buried — and the horses don’t pay the price.

FAQ: How does Stephanie Redlick AKA Stephanie Alessia have so many phone numbers?

That's a GREAT question and one that the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) in British Columbia answered after it was reported to them that someone bought a horse from Redlick - that she promised to deliver and $10K later the horse was not delivered.

Later it was discovered that Redlick NEVER had the horse she "sold" in her possession - that the pictures she used were ones she simply found on the Internet.

The RCMP recognized where all the phone numbers came from - "A known service to be widely used by 'professional' scam artists". VERY cheap to secure phone numbers.

It is of course free to set up multiple Facebook profiles and multiple profiles on Kijiji, etc.

And Gmail email address are cheap and easy to set up - she has even more email addresses than phone numbers and fake names.

Many people have stayed silent out of fear—because anyone who speaks out about Redlick's behaviour becomes a target.

Stephanie Redlick's default tactic is to aggressively smear and discredit anyone who dares to expose the truth which only makes us more determined to raise awareness and demand accountability from Ontario’s Animal Welfare Services.

ONGOING CONCERNS ABOUT REDLICK

STEPHANIE REDLICK OFFERING EQUINE THERAPY SESSIONS?

We continue to receive troubling reports involving Stephanie Redlick, who is already facing multiple animal neglect charges filed by Animal Welfare Services of Ontario, along with unrelated criminal charges for fraud and theft reported by CTV News.

Redlick now appears to be operating alongside a partner, Lilianna (Lili) DiMatteo, and continues to represent herself publicly as both an equine therapist and the operator of a so-called horse rescue called “Above the Stars Equine Rescue.”

According to several accounts, Redlick has been offering “therapy” sessions, describing herself as “like a doctor but not a licensed therapist, so OHIP doesn’t cover my charges.”

She reportedly requires payment upfront for multiple sessions via e-transfer, and if someone asks to meet her or see the property where the horses and sessions supposedly take place, she allegedly insists that payment must be made first — after which she proposes to meet the person at a Tim Hortons, rather than at any facility.

These reports are deeply concerning — especially given Redlick’s existing criminal charges and animal welfare history.

We urge anyone approached by Stephanie Redlick or Lilianna DiMatteo regarding horse purchases, therapy services, or “rescue” operations to exercise extreme caution and verify all claims before engaging in any transaction.

P.S. We have screen shots of a conversation she had via text… explaining how her so called equine therapy business works.

STEPHANIE REDLICK IN CRIMINAL COURT

STEPHANIE REDLICK APPEARS IN COURT

Redlick appeared defiant in the virtual Midland courtroom, claiming she was having technical issues. Repeatedly asked by Justice Angela McLeod to turn her video camera on for the court, Redlick said she was working on it and eventually complied about an hour later to address her matters.

Thank you to Corey Waren for the following – his thoughts on today’s court proceedings.  We will publish – shortly –  a transcript of  today’s proceedings – just cleaning up the typos.

Meanwhile after you read Corey’s thoughts please scroll down for an update on Xena, a 2 year old horse relinquished by Redlick to a private home AFTER a foal in her care died and BEFORE Animal Welfare Services seized 16 of Redlick’s horses and pressed charges.

Stephanie Redlick – First Appearance – Criminal Charges
Midland, Ontario Court – via Zoom
July 24, 2025

Stephanie Redlick appeared via Zoom today in Midland Criminal Court for her first appearance in connection with several criminal charges related to livestock theft and forgery.

When initially called upon by the judge, Ms. Redlick expressed concern with appearing by video, claiming: “CTV News is stalking me” and then when the judge insisted that she appear on video her response was, “I’m having technical issues.” The judge instructed her to return to a virtual “breakout room” to resolve the issue.

When called upon a second time later in the morning she was once again returned to a break out room to resolve her issue.

Court resumed in the afternoon, and Ms. Redlick reappeared via video. She seemed cheerful and somewhat “bouncy,” participating from her car while wearing sunglasses.

Redlick stated, “My tech people have gotten my video working”.

When asked by the judge to remove her sunglasses, she claimed she had recently undergone eye surgery and needed them due to it being bright.

Ms. Redlick, represented by a Legal Aid attorney chose to waive the formal reading of the charges against her.

Her court appearance was brief, with no substantive matters addressed. The case was adjourned and is scheduled to return on August 21, 2025.

In my opinion, based on my observation and experience, her demeanour appeared uninterested, disrespectful, and overly casual given the serious nature of the charges. She displayed little awareness or concern about the legal situation she is facing.

Summer Secord writes:  Xena (mare / draft cross / said to be Friesian x Percheron / has hernia / covered in cow feces / unhandled, scared, overgrown neglected feet / she is in pain and kicks when you try and touch her where the cow feces are packed onto her). Like the other horses, she is not only underweight but also dehydrated.

XENA NEEDS YOUR HELP

To those of you who raised your voices and demanded action—we can’t thank you enough.

Thanks in part to your advocacy, Animal Welfare Services did step in, and again charges against Stephanie Redlick have now been laid – she is also facing multiple criminal charges for fraud. [Details including CTV NEWS coverage here.]

But before the seizure, four other horses were quietly surrendered by Redlick to a compassionate local family.

Tragically, one of those four horses, Seattle Sunrise had to be euthanized—despite every effort, and significant expense, to save him.

Another, Xena, a gentle 2-year-old Percheron cross, urgently needed a specialist dental extraction, that cost over $3,000. [More about Xena’s story here.]

She also requires hernia repair surgery, and is currently undergoing follow up care from the first surgery.

Every dollar helps.

If you’re in a position to give, please consider donating today.

Together, we can keep showing up for horses like Xena.
