YOU CAN HELP BAN THE LIVE EXPORT OF HORSES FROM CANADA TO JAPAN FOR SLAUGHTER

The Citizens of Canada, call upon the Minister of Agriculture and Agri-Food to halt the live export of horses for slaughter, consistent with the Liberal Party of Canada’s 2021 election campaign commitment and the Minister’s December 16, 2021, mandate letter.

This petition has clout because it is sponsored by a Member of Parliament AND if it receives enough signatures it will be presented/read in Parliament.

Very special thanks to Canadian icon Jann Arden for being relentless in her efforts to ban horse slaughter and stop the inhumane and regulation-breaking transport of horses to Japan to be slaughtered for human consumption there.
